Friendsgiving Fits and Fashions

After slaving away in the kitchen for two consecutive days, cooking turkey, mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, stuffing, homemade rolls, cornbread, and cinnamon rolls, our little Friendsgiving group needed some us time. So, after strapping on our fittest fashion, we headed outside in the rainy LA weather for a photo shoot. No matter your style, the fall and winter seasons are the perfect times to showcase your holiday bests.
For my friendsgiving, I chose my classic black ASOS overalls with a brand new Tommy Hilfiger stripped polo. While standard black vans are a must and a staple in my every day life, I have had my eye on black Timberlands for a while. I’ll just add it to my wishlist, I guess. For my makeup, I used four products. Yes, four. With a mix of two berry Kat Von D liquid lipsticks (eye safe) and a mauve Elf lip liner, I created this lip and eye duo. Plus, the added touch of an Elf highlighter gave me that other-worldly glow. With little blending required, this is truly a lazy look for the cosmetically challenged. But hey, it’s effective. As I was walking out the door, I spotted this stripped beret and almost died of laughter. It’s campy and clever and cooky! Also, peep Managing Editor Bella Wayans in her orange GOWN. Very fall, Bella. Very fall.
