Lady in Red
I always have the best adventures when I go somewhere I don’t want to. Yesterday, I took my friend to buy her more school uniforms. When I looked at the address and saw it was in Montrose I got so annoyed. “Where is Montrose?” “What is Montrose?” Who even lives there?” Why is it sooooo far?” (it’s only 20 minutes) . Needless to say, I was being a lil' extra.
When we got there, we drove onto this little street called Honolulu Avenue. CUTEST STREET EVAAAAAA. It had a very South American vibe, cobblestone alleys, small cafés, the hills of Angeles National Forest in the background towering over the sidewalk scrapers (that’s what I called them because they were so small). There were families everywhere having brunch, shopping or just walking around. The trees were covered in lights and it made a very quintessential background for my red dress.
I also found out they have a market every Sunday “rain or shine” so I cannot wait to go back and see how much cuter this little town can get.
I’m wearing the Alli Strappy Split Midi dress in red from Boohoo and the FOXY SHADES in glossy black from The Cobra Shop.
